'Tony Savas has been exploring architecture and infrastructure by site-specific research for over a decade. The later half of that time has been focused on applying that knowledge to a visual format, producing drawings that depict a subconscious realm of empirical collapse and representational symbolism.Drawing from memory of locations he has personally explored and imagined, his work attempts to describe notions of anomie and isolation: the latter being considered something of a necessary evil in terms of facilitating the production of the work.'
